The 1970s are often referred to today, somewhat mockingly, as the 'selfish seventies'. Today the achievement of personal values - the pursuit of happiness - is not in fashion. Even having children or drinking a bottle of water is now considered an imposition on society or on the planet. Yet the realization of one's hopes and dreams remains as possible today as it was in the 70s. Back then, Glаmоυr Rоck was an exuberent expression of this. Making music hurt no one and dressing extravagently made sure everyone noticed how much fun - and how harmless - personal success can be. "Razzle dazzle" means blowing people away with the force of one's personal expression. It's sad that we don't hear about it much anymore. Hopefully this retro set of Ashley will help correct this.
